Contained within these pages is a collection of Italian wine that ranges from classic bench mark producers in appellations with centuries of history, to a younger generation of vignoli who are creating a new language from antique varietals.
Spiaggia has developed relationships with small artisanal producers who are dedicated to producing wine from indigenous varietals, using natural yeasts, organic or near organic farming methods, and a gentle touch with regard to the winemaker’s imprint on vine and place. We are proud to share these authentic treasures with you.
We select wines that convey a sense of place, effortlessness, and balance… sincere wines that lead you in for more and encourage experimentation and conviviality, rather than eager wines that blurt out the answers. We select wines produced by families who are passionate about quality, authenticity, and most of all are passionate about sharing their stories, their culture, and their unique place in history and Italian gastronomy.
